Major tasks:

• Compliance with public interests when using the mineral wealth.
• Departmental management and production control for the correctness of mining, mines construction and reconstruction, and building protection against mining unfavorable effects.
• Most complete and comprehensive use of mineral deposits and conservation of mineral resources.
• Timely carrying out mine survey, geodetic and topographic work, when designing, reconstruction and operation of mineral deposits, concentration and metallurgical complexes, as well as social infrastructure facilities, general plan, land use, and the Complex development prospects.
• Coordination of surveying and topographic and geodetic work at the Complex, working out the proposals and projects to improve the managing and technical re-equipment of the Complex’ survey service.
