+998 71 619 23 33The “Meeting of Three Generations” is more than just an event; it’ s a spiritual bridge, connecting the wealth of experience accumulated over the years with future generations, passing on traditions and values. Holding such meetings at a major industrial enterprise – the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex – reflects a profound and thoughtful approach to intergenerational continuity.
The main goal of the event is to establish a lively dialogue between veterans who have made significant contributions to the Complex’s development, mid-level managers actively working today, and young people just beginning their professional careers.
The meeting, timed to coincide with May 9th – Remembrance and Honor Day – took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere at the “Nuroniylar Maskani” Complex. It was attended by Abdulla Khursanov, Chairman of the Board of JSC Almalyk MMC, veterans of the Complex, and young people.
At the beginning of the event, the head of the Complex familiarized himself with the conditions created for the older generation at the complex. Following the meeting, instructions were given to expand the library collection, particularly by adding fiction. It was also emphasized that the Complex’s young people should be involved in the center’s activities and regularly participate in its life.
The speakers particularly noted that memory of the past and respect for the older generation are an integral part of the national values of our people.
In his speech, Abdulla Khursanov emphasized the large-scale transformations taking place in the country:
“Today, under the leadership of the head of state, major creative projects and systemic reforms are being implemented in Uzbekistan.” Specifically, on March 16 of this year, the official launch of Copper Concentrator - 3 took place. That same month, the Imam Bukhari Memorial Complex in Samarkand received its modern look, recognized as one of the pearls of New Uzbekistan. Another significant event was the opening of the Center for Islamic Civilization, which has already been included in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest museum of Islamic civilization. All these achievements are aimed at improving the well-being of the people and shaping a bright future for the country.
The ongoing reforms place particular emphasis on individuals and care for the older generation. As noted, the blessing of the Nuronii and their life experience are an important factor in the spiritual resilience of society. The creation of modern industries, such as Copper Concentrator - 3, and efforts to preserve cultural heritage largely reflect the dreams and aspirations of veterans who dedicated their lives to the development of the country. The meeting of three generations was a vivid demonstration of this continuity, uniting the wisdom of elders and the energy of youth.
The festive atmosphere was enhanced by a concert program prepared by the creative groups of the Metallurg Palace of Culture.
The event also emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory – the heroism and resilience of the Uzbek people during World War II, as well as their selfless labor on the home front. These examples serve as a reminder of the high value of peace and the need to preserve it with care.
The veterans who spoke at the meeting expressed their sincere gratitude to the President and the management of Complex for their attention and concern. In their speeches, they shared not only their professional experience but also their reflections on the importance of family as the foundation of society. Particular attention was paid to youth education, moral guidelines, and the need to prevent family conflicts. Their life advice, without exaggeration, can be called invaluable guidance for the younger generation.
The young specialists, in turn, noted the modern working conditions, the introduction of digital technologies, and the extensive opportunities created at the plant, expressing their willingness to continue the traditions of older generations.
As part of the event, an initiative was put forward to organize trips for veterans to Samarkand – to the Imam Bukhari Memorial Complex, as well as to the Center for Islamic Civilization in the capital.
At the end of the meeting, the veterans were presented with commemorative gifts.
