+998 71 619 23 33Today, our country is implementing large-scale reforms and construction projects aimed at improving the well-being of the population, improving living conditions, developing the service sector, and radically updating the appearance of towns and villages. Wherever you go, there are well-maintained streets, new residential areas, modern buildings and infrastructure facilities.
Unprecedented transformations are underway in all sectors. At the initiative of the President, special attention is paid to socio-economic development. The agenda includes creating new jobs, providing employment, training young people and women in professional skills, and supporting small and family businesses.
The President's slogan "In the name of human dignity!" has become a unifying idea for representatives of all spheres, responsible persons and the general public.
Another confirmation of this was a meeting with residents of Pap district of Namangan region, held with the participation of representatives of Almalyk Mining & Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) and the regional administration.
The meeting was attended by the heads of AMMC and the regional administration, representatives of the Almalyk Specialized Prosecutor's Office, the Department for Family and Women's Affairs, the Committee for Religious Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Employment Assistance Center, banking institutions, the Inson Center, the Health Department, non-governmental organizations, the Association of Mahallas, the deputies and active representatives of the public, as well as the leaders of all spheres of the Papsky district.
JSC "Almalyk Mining & Metallurgical Combine" is one of the largest taxpayers in the country. Today, over 36 thousand people work in the structures of the plant and its subsidiaries.
In Pap district, the Chadak Mine Administration operates, which is part of Almalyk Mining & Metallurgical Combine. Despite the fact that at present it does not bring tangible economic returns, on the initiative of the President, it continues to work in order to support the local population. In addition, with the sponsorship of the plant, sewing factories were opened in the village of Chadak, where about 600 local residents are currently employed.
The link between Namangan region and AMMC is made up of thousands of good-natured, hard-working and strong-willed people, including women who enthusiastically work in the Chadak Mine Administration and textile enterprises created with the support of the plant.
Speakers at the meeting particularly noted the importance of such interaction and its positive results.
In particular, the Deputy Head of the Namangan region administration, head of the department for family and women's affairs Dinara Yakubova, representatives of the Committee for Religious Affairs, leaders of the “Oqila Ayollar” movement and the “Nuroniy” Foundation expressed gratitude to the plant for fruitful cooperation.
As part of the meeting, a mobile reception of citizens was organized for residents of the district, during which appeals were heard on various issues – employment, medical assistance, financial support, tuition fees, property disputes, use of household plots and others. All appeals were considered on the spot and appropriate decisions were made on them.
The women from Chadak who applied for employment were given recommendations and directions for training and work at the “Chodak Textile” sewing factory, which operates with the support of AMMC.
Almalyk Mining & Metallurgical Combine will continue to actively participate in the implementation of social and economic reforms carried out under the leadership of the head of our state.
