Republican working group conducted research in Almalyk

In order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 3, 2025 "On measures to create a safe environment in the neighborhoods of the Republic in 2025 and further increase the effectiveness of the system for early prevention of crimes", a working group chaired by the Chairman of the Defense and Security Committee of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Qutbiddin Burkhonov is conducting ongoing research in the field.

On May 7 of this year, members of the working group visited the city of Almalyk to study the social criminogenic situation in the city and the incidence of crime in the neighborhoods. The working group visited the Sharof Rashidov neighborhood citizens' meeting and talked with the seven residents of the neighborhood. Instructions were given to the head of the Almalyk city Internal Affairs Department to create a safe environment in neighborhoods, organize preventive measures, timely identify the root causes of violations, and eliminate them with comprehensive measures. Recommendations were also made to establish close cooperation between representatives of the "seven" operating in the districts, jointly solve the existing problems of the population based on the requirements of the resolution, provide them with jobs, and ultimately eliminate crime by directing them to entrepreneurship.

In addition, the working group members, accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of the AMMC, Senator Abdulla Khursanov, got acquainted with the activities of social facilities in the Complex and the city.

The senators first visited the AMMC sanatorium and preventive health center. The guests were introduced to the activities of this medical facility, which plays an important role in restoring the health of the Complex's employees, and the conditions created there.

The next destination of the guests was Secondary School No 16. The senators studied the conditions created for students at the school and the quality of education.

The conditions created for students and the educational process at boarding school No 80 in our city, which was adopted by the Complex, did not go unnoticed by the senators.

The guests also visited the military unit of the Command of the Classified Facilities Guarding Troops of the Ministry of Defense and met with the military.

Senators familiarized themselves with the conditions created for military personnel in the military unit and had a cordial conversation with the military.
