On August 22-23 of this year, a nationwide charity hashar (volunteer clean-up) will be held in our country under the slogan "Wealthy and prosperous neighborhood is a beauty of the country." The relevant decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted on this.

The following activities will be carried out within the framework of the charity hashar:

- organization of improvement of territories of blocks, villages, apartment buildings, courtyards, lanes, alleys, shrines, cemeteries, streets and sidewalks, playgrounds, as well as pruning and pinching of trees;

- promote the improvement of housing conditions for the population in need of social protection, especially the poor, disadvantaged, elderly and disabled;

- provide participants in the improvement event with the necessary technical means and equipment;

- ensure that waste collected during the improvement work on the site is removed to places specially designated by local executive authorities and other competent organizations;

- strict control over the prohibition of voluntary activities and other work on highways, busy streets, water bodies, coastal areas, construction sites, roofs of buildings and structures, hazardous production facilities, as well as in other places that may pose a threat to the life or health of people.

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 349 dated May 10, 2018 “On additional measures to eliminate forced labor in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, when conducting charity hashar, it is strictly prohibited to forcibly involve the population in other types of public works, including construction and repair and agricultural work.

The hashar ensures that landscaping work on the territory of relevant organizations is carried out in strict compliance with the rules of labor protection and technical safety.

The labor team of JSC “Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine” also actively participates in the nationwide charity hashar.
