Within the framework of the megaproject being implemented at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, the construction of the Copper Concentrating Plant No. 3 has also given impetus to the growth of production capacities of several enterprises operating in Almalyk city.

In particular, CARBON POLYMER LLC has mastered the production of several types of products in 2025.

Under the “Towing Mechanism” cooperation program with the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, the company produced spare parts made from fluoroplastic materials worth 7.8 billion UZS this year.

According to Abbos Abdullayev, Head of the Localization Department at AMMC, this year the company developed and patented a special coating made of caprolon composite polymer for blocks, half-blocks, and steel ropes to save foreign currency and ensure continuous operation of EKG excavators at the mines.

As a result, the service life of steel ropes has increased by 4–5 times, and the durability of blocks and half-blocks — by 8–9 times.

To date, cooperation with AMMC has enabled the creation of 60 jobs and the mastering of production of 400 types of products at the enterprise.

One of the company’s new projects, developed under the state program to contribute to improving the country’s environmental conditions, involves the production and installation of special equipment designed to purify chemical gases emitted by large industrial enterprises.

Based on requests from “Uzbekneftegaz” JSC and Ammofos-Maxam JSC, CARBON POLYMER LLC has submitted business proposals, which are currently under review by the customers.

In short, through the “Towing Mechanism,” AMMC continues to support local manufacturers.

For reference, the “Towing Mechanism” is a system aimed at supporting business entities in mastering new types of import-substituting products through the joint development and submission of design and technological documentation, technical consulting, practical assistance, and improving product quality to required standards.
