AMMC Specialists Trained in Artificial Intelligence Technologies

31 October 2025, 9:56 499

Today, humanity is confidently stepping into a new stage of civilization — the era of artificial intelligence. “In any field, those who study this process diligently, achieve concrete results, and move one step ahead will be the ones to succeed.”
Shavkat Mirziyoyev

On October 21 of this year, under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a video conference was held to discuss the accelerated introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in public administration, economic sectors, and regions.

In order to fulfill the tasks set during that meeting, 13 IT specialists from the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) were trained in special courses on mastering artificial intelligence technologies.

Recently, at the AMMC Central Office, Aziz Rozikulov, Head of the Digitalization Department, met with the specialists who had completed these courses.

During the meeting, the importance of rapidly introducing artificial intelligence technologies into the company’s technological production chain and the need for qualified specialists to ensure this process were emphasized. It was noted that training AMMC specialists through special courses on artificial intelligence will be organized systematically.

During the event, 13 specialists who completed the courses were awarded certificates.

Indeed, artificial intelligence is penetrating every aspect of our lives today. As emphasized during the video conference, artificial intelligence technologies are deeply integrated into various sectors — from the economy and education to healthcare, agriculture, and management systems.

At the beginning of this year, it was projected that by 2030, the global artificial intelligence market would reach $15 trillion; however, current analyses show that this figure may exceed $20 trillion.

Foreign experts estimate Uzbekistan’s potential in the field of artificial intelligence at $10 billion. To turn this potential into real opportunities and remain competitive in an era of growing global demand for AI, it is necessary to strengthen efforts in three key areas — infrastructure, open data, and human resource development.

Last year, the Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence until 2030 was approved, and a special center dedicated to this field was established within the Ministry of Digital Technologies.

As a result, within one year, Uzbekistan rose by 17 positions in the global index of AI readiness and ranked first in Central Asia.
