On October 3 of this year, another preventive event was held for the engineering and technical staff as well as workers of the Copper Concentrator Plant.

The event was attended by B. Abdullayev, an investigator from the Department of Internal Affairs at “Almalyk MMC” JSC, and D. Safayev, Deputy Director of the plant for Precious Metals Security and Civil Protection.

During the meeting, participants discussed crimes committed among factory employees, the fight against corruption, and issues related to fraud prevention.

- “One of your colleagues, working side by side with you, took advantage of another person’s trust and obtained an online loan using that person’s phone. We must remember that preventing such incidents is not only the duty of law enforcement officers but also of the managers and employees working at the site,”- said B. Abdullayev.

- “Avoid giving your phone to others whenever possible, do not open suspicious links, and never share verification codes received via SMS with anyone. Nowadays, fraudsters are exploiting people’s gullibility through various deceitful methods to gain access to their funds.”

During the session, the officials presented statistics on offenses committed within the enterprise and highlighted the main causes leading to such crimes.

They emphasized the importance of every employee taking a responsible and serious approach to their work. Supervisors were urged to strengthen control during working hours and pay special attention to monitoring the process of handing over and accepting shifts in order to prevent similar incidents.

It was also noted that punishment is inevitable for any type of crime.
