Rectors and specialists of higher educational institutions training personnel for the mining and metallurgical industry of Uzbekistan visited the Almalyk mining and metallurgical complex.

The delegation included the University of Geological Sciences, Tashkent State Technical University, JSC "Uzbek Geological Research", JSC "Uzbekgeofizika", SE "Uzbekhydrogeology", as well as representatives of other educational institutions and agencies of our country.

The main purpose of the visit, led by Maqsud Isokov, rector of the University of Geological Sciences of Uzbekistan, was to study the activities of the engineering school of AMMC. The guests got acquainted with educational programs and shared experience with school specialists, which helps to improve the educational process at the relevant higher educational institutions.

In addition, the delegation visited a number of structural units of the complex and got acquainted with the implementation of large investment projects aimed at expanding production capacity.

The visit emphasizes the importance of strengthening ties between educational institutions and industrial enterprises, which will help train highly qualified personnel and further develop the mining and metallurgical industry of our country.
