+998 71 619 23 33Many countries around the world are showing strong interest in cooperating with the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC), where large-scale investment projects are currently being implemented. In particular, the Copper Concentrator Plant-3, built using advanced global technologies, has attracted considerable attention. A clear example of this is the interest expressed by specialists from Mongolia’s state-owned “Erdenet” enterprise to undergo professional training at the Copper Concentrator Plant-3.
Earlier this year, in April, 12 specialists from the enterprise completed a professional training program at AMMC.
Starting from September 22, another group of 12 Mongolian specialists has arrived to continue their training at the complex.
The visit began with a full introduction to the activities of the Engineering School. Afterwards, the Mongolian delegation visited the “Kalmakyr” and “Yoshlik I” mines, where they had the opportunity to closely observe mining operations.
The guests also explored the museums located at the “Metallurg” Palace of Culture.
The professional training courses are being conducted at the Engineering School and the Copper Concentrator Plant-3.
During the training program, which will run until October 6, the Mongolian delegation will be able to study the operations, production capacity, applied technologies, and equipment of the Copper Concentrator Plant-3 in detail.
In total, 36 specialists from the Erdenet enterprise are expected to complete training at AMMC.
For reference: The “Erdenet” state-owned enterprise currently processes more than 31 million tons of ore annually, producing nearly 530,000 tons of copper concentrate and about 4,500 tons of molybdenum concentrate.
