From year to year, cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany in various fields is developing at a dynamic pace.
Partnership relations between countries are consistently established and strengthened in the sphere of production. An example of this is the visits of large industrial companies to the Almalyk Mining and Smelting Plant.
So, on March 28, a delegation headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany in Uzbekistan, Dr. Tilo Klinner, arrived at the AMMC.
The delegation included members of German business circles, representatives of the German economy in the Central Asia region. During the visit, they visited the structural divisions of the plant. In particular, the guests visited the viewing platforms of the Kalmakyr mine, the Yoshlik I deposit and the copper processing plant No. 3 under construction.
The final point of the visit of the German delegation was the main executor of the Localization Program at the AMMC – the central repair and mechanical plant. The guests got acquainted with the activities of the enterprise by visiting its main workshops and sites.
After that, a meeting of the representatives of the delegation with the heads and responsible persons of the departments and subdivisions of the plant took place, during which negotiations were held in order to establish business ties.
