Students from more than 20 technical universities across the country, as well as young people from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Belarus, India, and China, participated in the international “Future Engineers” competition, organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.
Students from the Almalyk State Technical Institute demonstrated their potential in this international competition. Students from the institute won three prizes in nine engineering disciplines.
Team “ASTRYX” received a spot in the international First Tech Challenge “China Championship 2026” tournament. Team “Metallurgical Engineer”, winning the “Mechanism Relay” competition, demonstrated their passion for knowledge, innovation, and high level of teamwork. In the robotics program, the institute’s students took third place in the “Humanoid Robots” competition, winning a prize of 10 million soums and being accepted to the Uzbek national team.
The achievements of students at the Almalyk State Technical Institute, where large-scale transformational processes are currently underway, are not just a result, but a shining example of hard work, education, scientific research, and genuine engineering thinking. These successes are just the beginning. Young people who strive for knowledge and are forged in intellectual struggle are the creators of the future.
