As is well known, the last Sunday of October is celebrated in our country as Automobile Transport workers’ day in our country.

On this occasion, as well as to mark the 60^th anniversary of the Automobile Transport Department, a festive event for industry representatives was held at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) on October 23 this year.

The celebration began at the “Koinot” ceremonial complex, where participants from the company’s transport sector gathered around a lavish table to enjoy the festivities in a joyful and lively atmosphere.

In the afternoon, a concert was held at the “Metallurg” Palace of Culture. Before the program began, AMMC Chairman and Senator Abdulla Khursanov congratulated the sector’s employees on their professional holiday and the 60^th anniversary of the Automobile Transport Department. He emphasized the vital role of the Automobile and Technological Transport Departments in the complex’s production chain and ongoing investment projects.

During the event, in connection with the double celebration, by the order of the AMMC Chairman, 17 employees of the sector were awarded the “Mining Glory” breastplate of various degrees, 31 received Honorary Certificates, and 23 were presented with valuable gifts.

The concert program prepared by the artistic teams of “Metallurg” Palace of Culture was highly appreciated by all attendees.

In particular, the concert performance by the teachers of the Uzbek State Institute of Arts and Culture brought a festive mood to the audience.

Additionally, a display of transport vehicles organized by transport enterprises left a strong impression on the participants.
