+998 71 619 23 33The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex has developed a modern system aimed at reducing production costs and increasing efficiency. It encourages engineering, technical, and production personnel to propose solutions that improve operational efficiency and conserve fuel and energy resources.
Under this system, employees submit their project proposals to a working committee online. From the submitted ideas, the most promising ones are selected – those with real practical value and economic impact. These projects are gradually implemented into production, and their authors are regularly rewarded with cash bonuses. All this contributes to the widespread dissemination of a culture of energy conservation at the Complex and takes it to a whole new level.
On May 1 of this year, the Industrial Rail Transport Department also held an event where the working committee reviewed a number of new initiatives and proposals.
Specifically, the Department’s staff presented eight new projects planned for implementation under the Localization Program. The authors detailed the significance of their developments and the expected economic impact.
Notably, the total annual economic impact of the proposed ideas is estimated at 2.9 billion soums.
In addition, projects prepared by five specialists from the Central Repair and Mechanical Plant, a key executor of the Localization Program at AMMC, were presented during the event. According to their calculations, the expected annual economic impact will amount to an additional 146.7 million soums.
The working committee members thoroughly reviewed each proposal in the energy and mechanical engineering areas, highlighting both their strengths and potential risks and shortcomings. It was emphasized that the implementation of such initiatives requires comprehensively substantiated calculations. The experts also emphasized the need to develop localization of products to be manufactured within the proposed projects.
The authors were given additional recommendations for refining the projects, optimizing costs, and more efficient use of resources. It was noted that, after refinement and confirmation of their economic viability, these proposals should be widely implemented in production activities.
For information:
The Complex is currently implementing energy conservation projects in six key areas. Over the past period, AMMC has implemented 132 project proposals in areas such as energy, mechanical engineering, digitalization, transport and logistics, and metallurgy. As a result of their implementation, annual savings exceed 457.3 billion soums. Furthermore, consumption has been reduced by 71 million kWh of electricity, 276 thousand cubic meters of natural gas, and 13 million cubic meters of process water. These indicators are a reliable and sustainable factor in reducing production costs.
It’s also worth noting that 62 projects have been fully implemented to date, demonstrating high economic returns. Thanks to these projects, savings of approximately 93.3 billion soums have been achieved.
