Football clubs in our country traditionally hold pre-season presentation ceremonies every year to introduce new players to the public. Among these, our beloved team of Football Club “OKMK” held an official presentation ceremony before the new season yesterday, March 5, at the AMMC Sports Complex.

At the beginning of the event, an introductory presentation ceremony was held for the players who defended the honor of the team in previous seasons and won the love of the fans with their brilliant games, as well as local and legionnaire players who joined the club starting this season.

During the event, President of FC “OKMK” Abdulla Khursanov spoke and noted that the team won the vice-championship last season, and the hard work and unity of the entire team played a major role in achieving this result. He also wished the players good luck in this season, not only in the domestic championship, but also in qualifying for international competitions.

In response to these sincere wishes, the Head Coach of FC “OKMK” Mirjalol Qosimov thanked the team for the favorable conditions being created and expressed his intention to achieve even higher goals in the new season.

After that, the General Director of FC “OKMK” Bakhodir Mirzayev took the tribune and reported on the projects implemented in 2024. He noted that great work is being done for the development of the team, and spoke about the establishment of the AMMC football academy, the construction of modern fields for young players, and the construction of a dormitory for talented players who come from distant regions to practice.

Also, the start of the activities of the AMMC-Semurg team in Angren from 2025 was recognized as an important step not only for the club, but also for the residents of Angren. It was noted that this will not only contribute to the development of regional football, but also create an opportunity for new talents to emerge.

As the ceremony continued in a high spirit, in the next part of the presentation, a solemn presentation of the team's special playing uniforms for the new season took place with the participation of the President, General Director and Head Coach of FC “OKMK”. These uniforms are a set produced by the Uzbek brand – "7SABER", and were officially handed over to the players.

The greatest strength of FC “OKMK” is undoubtedly its loyal and devoted fans! The fans who attended the event emphasized that they will support the team under any circumstances. And at the same time, the fans who attended the event had the opportunity to participate in a photo shoot with their favorite players.

It should be noted that the FC “OKMK” strengthened its squad with the following players during the winter transfer window: local players Humoyunshoh Sayotov, Abror Karimov, Akbar Uktamov, Asad Sobirjonov and Abubakr Rizo Turdialiev were recruited to the team. At the same time, the “miners” also added such players from the legionnaires as Japanese Naoaki Senaga and Australian Ajak Riak.

Also, Ahmadullo Mukimjonov, who previously played on loan for the “Bunyodkor” and “Olimpik” teams, returned to OKMK. In addition, the contracts of Avazbek Olmasaliyev, Islam Tokhtakhojayev, Oybek Rustamov and Sardor Mirzayev, who played consistently for the FC “OKMK” last season, have been extended.

We believe that the "miners" team will continue to delight their fans with their intense play and passion for victory in the 2025 season and achieve great heights. They won not only the domestic championship, but also international tournaments, once again writing their name in bright letters.
