+998 71 619 23 33One of the key strategic projects being implemented at Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex is construction of the Kauldy gold recovery plant. The launch of the plant is intended to ensure more efficient use of the local raw material base and, through a systematic increase in gold production, make a significant contribution to strengthening the national gold and foreign exchange reserves.
Trust Almalykmetallurgqurilish is performing the construction of the plant. Construction and installation works on the site are currently 85% complete.
Specifically, the two-story administrative and amenity building has been fully completed. Construction works on the production building are 95% complete. Installation of process equipment and laying of process water supply pipelines is currently ongoing. Construction of two thickeners is nearing completion. Concurrently, the works are underway to expand the ore receiving area. A service platform is being installed in the reagent storage facility. Construction of the boiler house is fully completed, and the work on the pumping station is in the final stages. Eight sun protection canopies are being manufactured. Finishing works continue in the auxiliary facilities. Landscaping works have begun on the site, and construction of the checkpoint building is underway. Plumbing and electrical works are underway in all factory buildings.
The teams from the Specialized Repairs Department, the Production Automation Department, the Technical Security Systems Service, the Automobile Transport Department, the Logistics Department, and the “Kauldy” Mine are actively involved in the project.
Furthermore, the Production and Technical Department of the Capital Construction Directorate plays a significant role in organizing the construction process, while the team from the Design Works Department is involved in the design work.
The new factory is designed to process ore mined at the “Kauldy” and “Kuyi-Kenzhasay” deposits and will annually extract precious metals from 200,000 tons of raw material.
It is noteworthy that the equipment installed at the factory is being manufactured under the Localization Program at the Central Repair and Mechanical Plant.
For reference: after the plant will be commissioned, more than 150 new jobs will be created.
