As of January-September 2025, the localization program at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) has been implemented effectively and continues to deliver strong results.

Over the first nine months of the year, products worth 973.7 billion UZS were manufactured under 104 projects, fulfilling the forecast by 102.4%. The import substitution efficiency amounted to 78.9 million USD.

Of this, 796 billion UZS worth of localized products was produced through new projects.

In particular, the Central Repair and Mechanical Plant manufactured spare parts for mills, crushers, excavators, railway transport, flotation pneumatic machines, liners for screens, and spools for copper wires within the program, with a total value of 41.6 billion UZS.

Meanwhile, the Industrial Railway Transport Department produced undercarriages and bodies for 2BC-105 type wagons worth 2.5 billion UZS, and the Specialized Repair Works Department carried out the fabrication and installation of ventilation and aspiration systems as well as equipment for sulfuric acid production, totaling 11.8 billion UZS.

During the same period, localized products worth 786.7 thousand USD were exported.

In the first nine months of this year, through industrial cooperation, AMMC purchased 3.47 trillion UZS worth of products from domestic manufacturers, exceeding the plan by 120%.

Among these, “Uzmetkombinat” JSC (Uzbek Metallurgical Plant) supplied steel balls and rolled metal products, “Maxam-Chirchiq” JSC and “NavoiAzot” JSC provided chemical products, “Nurafshon-Maxsus-Texnika” LLC delivered mining dump trucks, and “Deutsche Innovative Technologies - AMMC” JV LLC supplied copper wires and complete anode sets with covers.

AMMC continues to support local manufacturers through the “Towage” (Direct Procurement) system. Within this framework, from January to September, the company purchased 966 billion UZS worth of products from 25 enterprises located in the “Industrial Triangle” and other regions. These included refractory materials, spare parts made from fluoroplastic materials, and steel pipes.
