+998 71 619 23 33As is known, in early November President Shavkat Mirzoyoyev paid a working visit to the United States. During the business program in Washington, the president held a meeting with representatives of leading U.S companies, investment funds, and financial institutions.
In his address, the President highlighted the key strategic partnership priorities between Uzbekistan and the United States. He noted that both countries intend to develop cooperation in the extraction and deep processing of uranium, copper tungsten, molybdenum, and graphite, establish reliable supply chains, and introduce advanced U.S processing technologies.
Following the roundtable discussions with executives of major U.S companies, investment funds, and financial institutions, several bilateral documents were signed. Among them were a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Geology and “Denali Exploration Group” on rare-earth element production, as well as an agreement between the Uzbekistan Fund for Reconstruction and development and “Re Element Technologies” on implementing projects in the rare metals sector.
As part of this cooperation, on November 17, representatives of the U.S companies “Denali Exploration Group” and GoGreen Partners, along with officials from the Ministry of Geology, visited AMMC.
The U.S delegation first toured the “Yoshlik I” and “Kalmakyr” mines, where the familiarized themselves with production processes. The guests also visited the newly constructed 3rd Copper Concentrator Plant to observe its operations.
During the meeting with AMMC geologists, the sides discussed future plans and potential areas of cooperation.
