On August 15 of this year, in cooperation with the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment and JSC "Almalyk MMC", promotional events were held in the structural divisions of the combine as part of the nationwide solidarity festival "For the Motherland, for the Nation, for the People!" on the occasion of the 34^th anniversary of our country's independence.

Initially, the spiritual promoters, including the People's Poet of Uzbekistan Mahmud Toir, professor, poetess Sayyora Toychiyeva, professor of the Yunus Rajabiy Uzbek National Institute of Music and Art Salohiddin Azizboyev, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Turgun Beknazarov, singer of the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan Begzod Eshonov, pop singers Bekzod Is'hakov (Bilol), Jasur Rakhimov, Aziz Rajabiy, held a meeting with the students of the Engineers' School and the active women of the "Women's Academy".

During the meeting, the poets and artists presented examples of their work.

As part of the event, the guests also met with the Chairman of the Board of AMMC Abdulla Khursanov.

During the meeting, the spiritual leaders acknowledged the Combine’s contribution to the economic power of our country.

Abdulla Khursanov noted that this year's festive splendor was special, and the plant's labor team was celebrating the day with high spirits and achievements in production.

As part of the event, the spiritual leaders also visited the Copper Processing Plant, Copper Smelting Plant, Central Repair Mechanical Plant, Copper Processing Plant-3, Industrial Railway Transport Department, and the military units of the Ministry of Defense's Command of the Guard of Classified Facilities, sharing a festive mood with the employees of the enterprises and the military. The guests noted that all the reforms being implemented in our country are a tribute to independence.

As part of the festival, the gala concert was organized on the same day at the “Metallurg” Palace of Culture.

Speaking at the beginning of the event, Senator Abdulla Khursanov, Chairman of the Board of JSC “Almalyk MMC”, expressed his gratitude to the spiritual promoters who created a festive mood for the plant's employees on the eve of Independence Day, and noted that the plant's workforce will always make a worthy contribution to the development of the country.

In addition, during the event, the winners of the Copper Smelting Plant competition on increasing energy efficiency, reducing production costs and reducing expenses were also awarded cash prizes. For information, 25 proposals were submitted to the competition by the plant's employees, 16 of which were recognized. The proposed ideas will allow saving more than 300 billion UZS.

The culmination of the concert, of course, was the performance of Mashhur Muhammad, a singer whose songs are becoming increasingly popular among the people today.

The concert program continued in the courtyard of the “Metallurg” Palace of Culture, giving our fellow citizens a festive mood.
