+998 71 619 23 33As previously reported, reconstruction work is currently underway at the “Dukent” Palace of Culture, located in the Dukent settlement of Angren city, under the sponsorship of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC).
According to Sardor Ismoilov, head of the site from the “Almalyk Metallurgical Construction” Trust, 95% of the dismantling work has already been completed. At present, plastering and installation works are in progress, and metal frames are being fixed for the installation of drywall panels.
In addition, preparations for covering the building’s facade with travertine are ongoing. The roof has been completely renovated, and a soft coating has been laid.
Specialists from the Technical Safety Systems Service are also conducting on-site studies to install video surveillance and fire protection systems.
For reference: the building was constructed in the 1960s and had become dilapidated over time. With the support of AMMC, the Palace of Culture is being completely transformed into a modern facility. The two-story building’s roof will be fully renewed, old windows will be replaced with plastic-framed ones, and the heating, cold, and hot water systems will be modernized.
The palace includes a large auditorium designed for 500 seats, which will also be renovated into a modern setting. The palace territory will be fully landscaped and greened.
