On July 18, another seminar for entrepreneurs was held in the town of Almalyk as part of the implementation of the “Sanoat Uchburchagi” (Industrial Triangle) program. The event was organized in cooperation between Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) and the Tashkent region administration.

The seminar was attended by Assistant to the Head of Tashkent region administration for local industry development Umid Ubaydullaev, Head of the AMMC Localization Department Abbos Abdullaev, representatives of the Almalyk town administration, as well as more than 20 local entrepreneurs.

The meeting discussed issues of expanding cooperation between industrial enterprises and small businesses, supporting local producers and launching new projects within the program. Entrepreneurs also voiced their proposals and problems, and received relevant recommendations.

As part of the event, businessmen were presented with information about the activities of AMMC and a list of imported products that could be replaced with local analogues. It was noted that entrepreneurs have real opportunities to expand their production and establish cooperation with the plant.

The seminar was held in the format of an open dialogue. Negotiations were held between AMMC specialists and representatives of a number of enterprises, including Vitraj Group LLC, Sanoat Ogneupor Butlov and National Stone. Prospects for cooperation were discussed, including for such types of products as hardware and acid-resistant composite gratings, which the plant needs.

For reference: in November 2024, within the framework of the same program, an import substitution fair was held at AMMC, where goods purchased by the plant abroad were presented. Following the event, agreements were reached with a number of local manufacturers on the supply of similar products.
