The working meeting was held at Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex central office between the representatives of the Digitalization Department, the Digital Transformation and ERP Project Office, the Production Automation Department, and the Artificial Intelligence Introduction and Development Department, along with the specialists from “Timsoh” LLC.

During the meeting, the prospects for integrating the artificial intelligence technologies in the Complex production and business processes, issues of localizing virtualization systems, and areas for comprehensive digitalization of the enterprise were discussed.

During the event, V. Irismetov, the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Introduction and Development Department, presented the "Concept for the Development of Artificial Intelligence at AMMC through 2030," emphasizing the strategic importance of transitioning to a "Smart Mining" model.

Additionally, “Timsoh” LLC representatives had presented completed projects in industrial artificial intelligence, GPU virtualization solutions, the zVirt system, as well as cybersecurity developments and 1C:ERP-based solutions.

During the discussions, special attention was paid to integrating the proposed solutions into the existing digital infrastructure of the Altai Mining and Metallurgical Plant, expanding GPU clusters, and ensuring the stable operation of the zVirt system.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to hold additional VCA sessions with a select group of relevant specialists for a detailed technical study of the proposed artificial intelligence and virtualization solutions.
