The Almalyk branch of NUST “MISIS” held a training seminar on the topic "Priority areas of ongoing reforms and changes in tax and accounting legislation" for accountants and economists of the divisions of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine.

The event was organized by the central accounting department and the training center of AMMC. The participants were welcomed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Board for Economics, Finance and Transformation of JSC “Almalyk MMC” Bekhzod Mamatov, who noted the importance of the ongoing reforms and changes in the tax and accounting legislation of the country and expressed confidence that the training seminar would be useful for its participants.

During the event, such topics as changes in the tax and accounting legislation of the republic, the procedure for calculating and paying income tax, value added tax and excise tax, refund of overpaid amounts to the budget, features of calculating income and social taxes from individuals, tax benefits, property taxes, issues of taxation of land and water resources, analysis of the profitability of financial and economic activities of enterprises and ways to improve their efficiency were discussed.

These topics were covered by highly qualified specialists: professors and associate professors of the Tashkent State University of Economics, representatives of the Tax Committee and the Interregional Tax Inspectorate for Large Taxpayers.

The seminar ended with the speakers answering questions from the participants of the seminar-training.
