The “Spartakiad–2025” sports competitions among employees of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) have entered an active stage.

On September 6–7 of this year, handball matches were launched. A total of 22 teams took part in the competition, divided into two main groups.

In Group 1, teams were further divided into two subgroups.
In Subgroup 1, the Industrial Railway Transport Department team won first place, followed by the Trade Union Committee team in second place, and the Departmental Paramilitary Security Service team in third.

In Subgroup 2, the Copper Concentrator Plant team secured first place, while Copper Concentrator Plant-2 and the Power Supply Networks Department teams placed second and third, respectively.

In Group 2, Subgroup 1, the Technological Transport Department, the Specialized Repair Works Department, and the Industrial Water Supply Department took the top three positions.

In Group 2, Subgroup 2, the Copper Concentrator Plant-3, “Kauldy” Mine, and Zinc Plant teams claimed the prize-winning places.
