At the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, reducing production costs, conserving energy resources, and saving fuel and lubricants remain among the company’s top priorities. To promote this goal, regular awareness campaigns are held across the complex’s structural units.

One such event took place at the Engineering School for the employees of the Technological Transport Department.

The event was attended by department head Aleksey Kharin, leading engineer of the Fuel and Lubricants Monitoring Service Shukhrat Norbekov, deputy head for operations Bahrom Niyazmetov, and heads of departments along with senior specialists.

During the seminar-style training, speakers emphasized the importance of adhering to the complex’s resource conservation policy, highlighting that regular monitoring of fuel and lubricant consumption in transport vehicles is being carried out. It was also noted that special monitoring devices have been installed in vehicle fuel tanks to ensure accurate tracking.

Additionaly, participants discussed the importance of efficient vehicle use, including preventing unnecessary idling and utilizing full cargo capacity – measures that contribute significantly to saving resources.

According to the department, as a result of the implemented conservation measures, the complex has saved 9,668 tons of diesel fuel and 1,900 tons of gasoline in the first nine months of this year.
