The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex consistently implements the Localization Program. In particular, the Industrial Rail Transport Department has established production of a wide range of spare parts as part of this program.

The delegation, which included Deputy Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Zh.  Choriev, Chief Engineer of O’zbekiston Temir Yo’llari JSC Sh.  Kadirov, as well as head of Temiryulinfratuzilma JSC O.  Khudaykulov reviewed the progress of the work. The guests were provided with detailed information about achievements of the plant in the railway industry.

During the visit, the delegation inspected the products produced under the localization program. The key components of the 2ВС-105 dump car, produced locally, were of particular interest.

Following the results of a bilateral meeting between O’zbekiston Temir Yo’llari JSC and Almalyk MMC JSC, agreements were reached on further development of cooperation. The parties intend to jointly implement projects to localize a number of types of railway equipment and the spare parts required for them in the republic.
