+998 71 619 23 33Today, one of the key factors in Uzbekistan's development is the attention paid to state youth policy. Since young people make up more than half of the country's population, it becomes clear that their education, professional development, and active participation in public life form a solid foundation for national progress.
This is why, over the years of independence, initiatives aimed at supporting the interests of young people, protecting their rights and legitimate interests, and assisting them in finding their place in the labor market have reached a qualitatively new level.
In this regard, on 3 February this year, at the initiative of Trust Olmalikmetallurgqurilish (TOMQ) management, in collaboration with the Youth Union and the trade union committee, an open meeting with young professionals was organized. Akmal Abdukodirov, Deputy Manager of the Trust for General Affairs, as well as a number of responsible managers and specialists, participated in the event.
During the meeting, the speakers provided a detailed description of the conditions and opportunities created at the enterprise for young professionals, as well as measures for their professional growth and comprehensive development. Furthermore, the leaders, drawing on real-life examples, urged young people to stay away from harmful habits, particularly online gambling.
The opinions, suggestions, and initiatives of young employees were heard in an open dialogue format. The discussions resulted in concrete, practical proposals for supporting youth ideas and addressing pressing issues.
At the end of the event, the most active participants were presented with books and magazines. That same day, the trust's employees celebrating their 50th anniversary – Hikmat Davletyorov, Abdurakhim Arslonov, and Ikrom Kyrgyzboyev – received warm congratulations from management and commemorative gifts from the trade union.
A meeting with young specialists was also held that day at the construction site of Sulfuric Acid Shop No. 6. The event was attended by B. Tuychiev, Acting Head of the Health and Safety Department at TOMQ, and J. Alijonov, Chairman of the Youth Union.
During the meeting, workers were reminded of the need to strictly adhere to established construction procedures, as well as occupational health and safety requirements.
During the open dialogue, participants were provided with necessary information and recommendations on how to utilize the benefits and opportunities available to workers and young people.
