The team of the Automobile Transport Department successfully copes with the forecast indicators, exceeding them, and also implements measures to save fuel.

Thus, in June, technological transportation by UAT amounted to 90.2 thousand m³ (118.5%) and 223.0 thousand tons (110.9%). The workers of motor depots No. 1 distinguished themselves the most – 121.2% and 112.0%, 3 (serves Chadakskoye Mining Administration) – 115.8% and 107.1%, 5 (serves r/u "Khandiza") – 132.7% and 113.5% respectively.

The forecast for machine hours was fulfilled by 109.2% and amounted to 192,077 machine hours. Motor depots No. 1 (111.8%) and 3 (112.3%) worked the best in this direction.

The motorists also met the forecast for tractor hours: 124.4%, which amounted to 15,176 tractor hours. A significant contribution was made by the workers of motor depots No. 2, which services the AMMC divisions in the Angren region, (116.8%) and 3 (115.1%).

The indicators for the first half of the year are also encouraging. Technological transportation for the enterprise as a whole amounted to 139.6%: 641.2 thousand m³ of technological cargo were transported. Motor depots No. 1 and 3, respectively, fulfilled the forecast by 117.0% and 117.1%, while motor depot No. 5 fulfilled it by 113.5%. In tons, this figure amounted to 1,555.3 thousand tons, or 127.6%. The best was a/b No. 5 with 133.1%, 107.1% - for a/b No. 1, 106.3% - for a/b No. 3.

The forecast for machine hours for January-June was also exceeded – 111.8%, or 1,190,630 machine hours. Here, too, units No. 1 and 3 distinguished themselves - 112.2% and 111.7%.

Motorists also successfully coped with the indicator for tractor hours - by 128.7% (94,705 tractor hours). A good result was achieved by units No. 2 and 5 - 108.5% and 104.7%, respectively.

Thanks to the implementation of the developed measures to save fuel, 50.379 tons of diesel fuel, 10.444 tons of gasoline, 10.157 thousand m³ of compressed gas were saved in June. Over the past six months, these figures amounted to 138,157 tons, 42,631 tons and 32,966 thousand m³, respectively.

"Green" energy at the service of motorists

Today, much attention is paid to the introduction of "green" energy both in production and in the private sector all over the world. A lot of work in this direction is being done at AMMC, including UAT.

Since the end of last year, solar panels with a total capacity of 160 kW have been installed in motor depots No. 1 and 2. They have been put into operation since May of this year. We can already talk about the positive effect of this innovation: on average, electricity savings in the summer months are more than 40% per month.

We are "for"

In order to support "green" energy, the UAT team decided to make an electric car of its own design.

This is being done by Sherali Khamidov, an engineer of fuel and energy resources at the ADT PTO.  The electric car, which is called the "AMMC 001" model here, is assembled from scrap materials. The finished model is planned to be demonstrated at one of the holiday exhibitions.

If "AMMC 001" lives up to expectations, motorists will not stop at a single model.

"Green" technologies - state support

In December 2022, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev signed the Resolution "On measures for state support for the organization of production of electric vehicles".

According to this document, in order to actively introduce "green" technologies in all areas, reduce the volume of harmful gas emissions into the atmosphere, a system of state support for industrial production on the territory of the republic of vehicles running on electrical energy sources - electric vehicles, and vehicles running on an internal combustion engine and an electric motor charged from an external source of electricity - hybrid vehicles is being introduced. An increase in the number of such vehicles will have a positive impact on the environment: these vehicles emit several times less harmful substances than their "brothers" that use gasoline and diesel fuel. This will also save various types of fuel.

Last year, “Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine” JSC purchased 20 hybrid and electric vehicles to service the plant's workshops. A stationary charging station was installed in the executive office of the plant.

The best young leader works at ATD

On the eve of Youth Day, which is celebrated in our country on June 30, the AMMC held the "Best Young Manager" competition, in which over 100 people under 30 from all divisions of the plant took part.

In the first round, the contenders for the title of the best took an IQ test, the second round was held in the form of an oral interview and revealed the general knowledge of the participants. In the third round, each contestant had to make a rationalization proposal.

According to the results of the competition, the first place was awarded to the chief power engineer of ADT Oybek Sapparov, who successfully passed all the tests, and his rationalization proposal is dedicated to alternative types of electricity. Currently, the young manager is preparing documents to formalize his idea.

We are actively participating in the nationwide project

A lot of work is being done to green the territories of ADT divisions.

Since the end of last year to the present, green spaces have noticeably increased in the workshops and areas of the department. Within the framework of the nationwide project "Yashil Makon", 78 thousand poplars, over 500 seedlings of other ornamental trees, over 300 seedlings of fruit trees have been planted here.

In addition, the flower beds are decorated with flowers that bloom at different times. Most of them are occupied by basil - more than 20 thousand bushes, roses - about a thousand, others - more than three thousand.

The motorists planted them during the hashars, all together, jointly. And the assigned workers take care of the trees and flowers in their free time from their main work.

The plans include further landscaping of the ADT divisions.

Assistance to sponsored organizations

The team of the repair and maintenance site (RMS) is mainly engaged in helping the sponsored organizations.

Summer is the time of vacation for children. But adults are intensively preparing for the new school year. For the sponsored school No. 5, UAT allocated building materials: lime, sand, cement. Every day, three to four RMS workers are engaged in painting work.

The enterprise is also assigned a cemetery located at the entrance to the city, which the managers regularly clear of garbage, dead wood, etc. Every week, 1-2 people are sent for this, and during the hashars, up to 15 people work here.

Favorite vacation spot

Undoubtedly, the favorite vacation spot for many workers of JSC Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine is the Avtomobilist recreation center, which is looked after and made attractive by UAT workers.

On the picturesque shore of Tashmore, all the necessary conditions for a full-fledged vacation by the water have been created: a comfortable beach, clean water area, a swimming pool, trestle beds...

Every day, 25-30 lovers of vacation by the water go here, and on weekends this number doubles.
