As is known, in underground mines, a sawmill plays an important role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of the enterprise. It is used to build and strengthen mine shafts (gallery, drift, shaft), as well as sawing logs, boards, beams and other wooden materials necessary for other needs of the mine. Reinforcements ensure the strength of rocks and prevent collapse. Wood-based materials are also used in the manufacture of various parts and structures necessary for mining operations. For example, lifting mechanisms, ventilation walkways, stairs, beds, etc.

Based on these needs, the construction of wood-cutting sawmill at the “Qizil olma” mine of the Angren Mine Administration has been determined, and construction work is currently being completed.

The team of “Olmaliqmеtallurgqurilish” Trust began construction of the facility in March of this year. The facility is equipped with R63-4B wood-cutting equipment, which has a number of advantages. In particular, the equipment is notable for its high-quality sawing, productivity, reliability, and low energy consumption. In addition, it is distinguished by its stability in operation at low temperatures, simplicity in operation, maintenance, and repair.

Currently, a fan is expected to be delivered to the facility. After it is installed, the facility will be put into operation.

It is worth noting that this is the fourth sawmill at the Angren Mine Administration. In addition, similar sawmills operate at the Central Warehouse, the “Semguron” and “Razvedka” mines. In general, the monthly need for wood materials at the Angren KB is 450 cubic meters.
