Summary of AMMC Operation: Analysis of the Results, Priority Tasks

Today, the meeting was held at the Central Office of AMMC dedicated to the work done at the plant in 2025 and priority tasks to be performed in 2026.

The meeting was attended by the management of AMMC, the heads of structural divisions and specialists.

At the event, the Chairman of Board of AMMC Abdulla Khursanov noted that in 2025 the team of the Complex had fulfilled all the production forecasts, in particular, the volume of production exceeding 51 trillion UZS, and the plan was fulfilled by 119%. It was also emphasized that over the nine-year period, copper production volumes in 2025 increased by 140% compared to 2016.

In addition, A. Khursanov noted that, along with the fulfillment of the set production indicators, investment projects at the Complex are also being implemented at an accelerated pace.

In particular, it was noted that first concentrate was produced at the Copper Processing Plant-3 on 27 March 2025, the 1st process line of this plant was launched and copper concentrate is being supplied to the Copper Smelter.

In addition, in 2025, one rotary kiln was commissioned at the Lime Plant, and two rotary kilns were commissioned at the Rare Metals Production Shop of the Copper Smelter. The new explosives plant was built and put into operation.

During the meeting, it was announced that in the coming year of 2026, the team of AMMC would ensure the fulfillment of all production tasks. The priority tasks are bringing the process lines of the Copper Processing Plant-3 to full capacity, commissioning of the 6th Sulphate Acid Shop of the Zinc Plant and the Gold Recovery Plant for processing ores from the Qovuldy mine.

In addition, it was discussed to start the active phase of construction of the new copper smelter, to continue the construction of the 4th Copper Processing Plant with production capacity of 60 million tons of ore processing, to build the Lime Plant with production capacity of 737 thousand tons of lime in the Jizzakh region, and to start the works on increasing the ore processing capacity of the 2nd Copper Processing Plant to 5 million tons. Special attention will be paid to increasing the production volumes, modernizing the facilities, widely implementing artificial intelligence in management processes, mastering new technologies, reducing the production costs, rational use energy resources, and improving the environmental situation.

During the meeting, the officials were assigned the tasks on the issues considered in the appropriate order. It was emphasized that all the desired results can be achieved if each employee of the Complex approaches their work responsibly.
