Greetings, dear colleagues, dedicated drivers of our plant, and esteemed veterans!

I sincerely congratulate you on the glorious 60^th anniversary of the establishment of the Automobile Transport Department of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex and on the occasion of the Automobile transport workers’ day!

Sixty years ago, when mining operations intensified at major production sites such as “Altyn-Topkan”, “Kurgashinkan” “Kalmakyr”, the need to centralize the management of transport operation arose, laying the foundation for the Automobile Transport Department in the history of the complex.

That historic event marked a new and responsible stage in the development of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex. Over the years, reforms in the automobile sector – particularly the transition to a modern management system in 2021 – have enhanced operational efficiency and elevated service quality to a new level.

Today, the Automobile Transport Department comprises a dedicated team of 1,893 skilled drivers, engineers, mechanics, dispatchers, and fitters, working tirelessly to ensure the stable operation of the complex in Tashkent, Surkhandarya and Namangan regions.

Through the use of 836 transport vehicles in the company’s technical fleet, the team efficiently handles tasks such as transporting mined ore from the quarries, providing production units with construction and specialized equipment, and safely delivering employees to their workplaces on time.

In addition, the Automobile Transport and Technological Transport Departments actively participate in investment projects at the complex. For instance, the Technological Transport Department, equipped with 173 quarry dump trucks, 162 road construction machines, and 80 service vehicles, successfully executed 250,000  of work at the “Yoshlik I” mine. These achievements reflect the dedication, professionalism, and labor commitment of our heavy transport drivers.

Moreover, significant efforts are underway to reduce production costs and protect the environment. Notably, converting 20-ton capacity “KamAZ” trucks from diesel to methane fuel is an important step toward ecological sustainability. Plans are in place to convert all transport equipment in the department to methane fuel. Scientific studies are also being conducted to adapt active “BelAZ” mining trucks to more economical and affordable fuel types.

Your labor is the lifeblood of the complex’s operations. Every day, you traverse hundreds of kilometers, transport tons of ore, and safely deliver our employees to their workplaces. Your selfless service is genuine dedication.
