Dear workers and employees of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, labor veterans, and cherished residents of Almalyk!

Today, as we joyfully welcome the new year 2026, we naturally reflect on the achievements of the year drawing to a close.

On December 26, we all listened with great interest to our esteemed President's Address to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan.

The Address thoroughly analyzed the results achieved in the past period, and the coming year was designated as the "Year of Makhalla Development and Society Enhancement".

Additionally, priority tasks for the development of the country's economy and social spheres were outlined.

Dear colleagues, the past year has also been filled with success for the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex.

Notably, on March 27, the first concentrate was produced at the 3rd Copper Processing Plant, which is recognized as a megaproject on a global scale. This factory doubled our complex's capacity and has been etched into the pages of history.

One rotary kiln was commissioned at the lime plant, and two at the Rare Metals Production Workshop of the Copper Smelting Plant. A new explosives plant was constructed and put into operation.

Construction of the 6th Sulfuric Acid Workshop of the Zinc Plant and the Gold Sorting Factory for processing ores from the Kauldy mine is nearing completion. Work is underway to open new horizons at the Handiza mine. These projects will serve as an important foundation for next year's achievements.

Specialists from European countries, Asia, and the United States of America, who are familiarizing themselves with the activities of our plant, highly value these projects.

We can say with satisfaction that today, thanks to the dedicated efforts of our plant's workforce, the annual targets have been fully achieved. Specifically, by the end of the year, the production volume exceeded 51 trillion soums, or 119% of the planned target.

Comparing the current year to 2016, copper production has increased by 140 percent, gold by 138 percent, and silver by 164 percent.

Today, the steady growth of copper, gold, and silver prices in the world market is further strengthening our country's economic and financial power. This once again confirms the correctness of our ongoing work, enhancing our ability to provide social support for employees and create quality working conditions.

As we all know, the plant pays special attention to social issues. In particular, in 2025, a new recreation facility was opened in the Zaamin district of the Jizzakh region for the plant's employees and their family members.

A modern building was constructed for the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex football academy. Today, hundreds of young football players are training at this facility. Thanks to the conditions created, our young football players have already won international and national competitions this year.

We will fully fulfill all our social obligations to production veterans and employees, focusing on helping vulnerable families in our city and further improving neighborhoods.

Dear colleagues, next year, as emphasized in the President's Address, we will first and foremost rapidly begin the construction of a new copper smelting plant.

The construction of the 4th Copper Concentrator with a processing capacity of 60 million tons of ore will continue, and work will begin on building a lime plant with a capacity of 737 thousand tons in Jizzakh region, as well as increasing the processing capacity of the 2nd Copper Concentrator by 5 million tons.

Additionally, increasing production volumes, modernizing capacities, widely implementing artificial intelligence in management processes, and introducing new technologies will remain important tasks.

Furthermore, we must carry out tasks such as conserving energy resources, reducing costs, and further improving the ecological environment.

I am confident that these tasks will be fully accomplished through the dedicated work of our plant's capable and experienced team, and I consider this an honor for us.
