Those who have dedicated their hearts, compassion, and destinies to the noble and responsible mission of safeguarding people’s health and saving lives — our esteemed doctors, nurses, and all medical professionals — I sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday, “Medical Workers’ Day”!
Health is the greatest blessing for every human being, and protecting it is an act of true nobility. A doctor’s work demands immense patience, integrity, and devotion. You are the guardians of life — symbols of mercy, compassion, and humanity. The deep respect and high regard of our people and our state for you are well deserved.
The tireless efforts of our selfless doctors and nurses — who bring healing to every patient, and hope and happiness to every home — deserve the highest recognition.
The courage and dedication shown by our medical workers during the global COVID-19 pandemic, when they risked their own lives for the health of the nation, will forever remain engraved in the memory of our people. This stands as one of the finest examples of service, humanity, and heroism.
Under the leadership of our President, broad opportunities are being created for the development of the healthcare sector in Uzbekistan. Modern clinics, advanced diagnostic technologies, and training programs aimed at strengthening professional capacity have given new life and spirit to the industry.
In this direction, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) has been actively supporting ongoing reforms to improve the quality of medical services and to protect the health of its employees, veterans, and the local population.
On the initiative of the Complex, the maternity complex in Almalyk has been transformed into a regional perinatal center. The Medical and Sanitary Polyclinic has been fully reconstructed and equipped with modern medical facilities. In addition, the sanatorium-prophylactic center under the Complex has been completely renovated and is now recognized as one of the most modern health resorts in the region.
Today, AMMC’s Medical and Sanitary Polyclinic is capable of serving up to 300 patients per shift, with doctors working in two shifts. The team of 156 qualified medical specialists provides high-quality medical services annually to over 35,000 employees and more than 7,000 women. Moreover, 190 medical professionals continue their dedicated work at 30 medical points operating within the Complex’s enterprises.
The AMMC sanatorium, employing nearly 40 skilled doctors and nurses, also contributes significantly to the health and recovery of workers and their families.
It is worth noting that the effectiveness of today’s medical system plays a crucial role in prevention, early diagnosis, rehabilitation, and improving public health awareness.
Dear doctors and medical professionals!
Once again, I sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday. I wish you great success in your noble work, peace and prosperity in your homes, and good health and happiness for you and your loved ones. May you never tire of bringing healing and goodness to people — and may kindness always accompany your path!
With respect,
Abdulla Khursanov
