Fulfilling the most important priorities of the socio-economic development program, the team of JSC “Almalyk MMC” ensured the output of commercial products in the first quarter of 2025:

- in current prices – by 113.9%.

The output of copper cathode amounted to 101.4%, including 118.9% from own raw materials, metallic zinc 52.5%, including 102.7% from own raw materials, sulfuric acid 91.3%, refined gold 102.6% and refined silver 100.0%.

In the first quarter of 2025, the products were exported in the amount of 101.7 million USD, the forecast in this direction was fulfilled by 105.4%.

According to the results of the first quarter of 2025, 20.4 thousand tons of copper products and 8.6 thousand tons of metallic zinc were put up for exchange trading by JSC “O‘zTXAB”, of which 19.8 thousand tons of copper products and 8.2 thousand tons of metallic zinc were delivered.

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 31 January  2025 No. 53 "On the measures to implement the investment program of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2025", the investment program was approved that provides for the development of funds in the amount of 869.2 million USD within the framework of the 9 major projects of JSC “Almalik mining and metallurgical complex”.

According to the results of the first quarter of 2025, the investments in the amount of 205.4 million USD were developed, which is 102.1% of the forecast indicator. Of this amount:

• 100.0 million USD – at the expense of the enterprise's own funds;
• 105.4 million USD – through direct foreign loans.

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 13 November 2024 No. 753/15 "On the measures to develop types of products required for the needs of enterprises of the mining and metallurgical industry, and to increase production volumes", 105 projects are planned to be implemented in 2025 within the framework of the Localization Program for a total of 1,283.9 billion UZS.

In the first quarter of 2025, the output of localized products under 93 projects amounted to 312.4 billion UZS, or 103.5% of the forecast.

The Complex of organizational and technical measures to reduce the production costs for 2025 has been developed, providing for a reduction in production costs by 1,690.2 billion UZS, or 10.3%.

The expected result from the implementation of the set of measures to reduce production costs for the first quarter of 2025 is 231.6 billion UZS or 8.8%, in particular, the cost of production is 201.5 billion UZS or 7.6%.

The enterprise is implementing measures to improve management, strengthen the financial and economic situation and monitor the reduction of accounts receivable and accounts payable.

The expected accounts receivable as of 1 April 2025 will amount to 9,931.2 billion UZS, accounts payable – 3,723.1 billion UZS.

There are no debts to the state budget and wages.

In accordance with the program for technical raining of workers, 2,154 people underwent training to improve the skills of workers, including 287 people with off-the-job training, retraining and mastering a second profession – 424 people, advanced training and retraining of managers and specialists – 640 people, including 261 people with off-the-job training.

JSC “Almalyk MMC” cooperates with 10 universities in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Almalyk branch of NUST MISiS of the Russian Federation in training specialists with higher education.

Currently, the total number of students is 80, of which 7 students are studying full-time and 73 students are studying in the correspondence and evening departments of universities.

In total, 376 people were employed during the reporting period, including 207 college graduates, 131 graduates of higher educational institutions and 38 people without higher education.

In order to timely execute the instructions of higher authorities, improve the system of control over the executive discipline, the service for control over the execution of instructions of higher organizations was created within the Executive Office of JSC “Almalyk MMC” and a procedure for a systematic and critical analysis of the state of executive discipline was established.

Throughout the period, the work is underway to implement a reporting system and organize control over the execution of documents within the established timeframes, study the progress of the implementation of the Laws, the acts of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Government decisions at the local level. According to the work plan of the enterprise, the protocols are drawn up with the execution of analytical reports.

Systematic work is carried out to critically analyze the implementation of its own decisions, identify deficiencies and develop specific measures to eliminate them.

A total of 1,063 acts were registered for the first quarter of 2025, including:

• acts and instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan – 30 (orders – 3, resolutions – 4, instructions of the Presidential Administration – 23);
• acts and instructions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan – 149 (resolutions – 11, orders – 3, protocols – 25, instructions of the Prime Minister, his deputies and advisers – 67, instructions of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers – 43, letters of ministries, departments and organizations – 885).
