Fulfilling the most important priorities of the socio-economic development program, the staff of JSC Almalyk MMC for the first half 2022 ensured the production of marketable products:

• in current prices - by 120.4%,

The growth rate of commercial output in comparable prices compared to the corresponding period of 2021 amounted to 97.8%.

Production of cathode copper amounted to 100.0%, including from own raw materials 97.9%, metallic zinc 100.0%, including from own raw materials 100.0%, sulfuric acid 106.0%, refined gold 100.2% and refined silver 100.4%, Portland cement 71.8%.

In the first half 2022, products were sold for export in the amount 452.0 million US dollars, the forecast indicator was fulfilled by 144.1%.

In accordance with No.PP-72  Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 30, 2021 “Regarding approval of the investment program of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 and introduction of new approaches and mechanisms for managing investment projects”, investment projects for 2022 are being implemented at Almalyk MMC JSC, aimed at increasing the capacity for mining and processing of raw materials with the development of capital investments in the amount  USD 766.0 million, including through:

• own funds of the enterprise - 12.4 million US dollars;

For the first half 2022, investments in the amount USD 139.5 million (101.0%) were disbursed, including through:

• own funds of the enterprise - 139.5 million US dollars.

In accordance with No.PP-99 Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 24, 2022 “Regarding measures to create an effective system for the development of production and expansion of industrial cooperation in the republic”, Almalyk MMC JSC provides for the implementation of 97 projects in 2022 for a total 208,7 billion UZS

For the first half 2022, the output of localized products for 100 projects amounted to 139.1 billion UZS, or 125.5% of the forecast.

A set of organizational and technical measures has been developed to reduce production costs for 2022, which provides for a reduction in production costs by 328.0 billion UZS or 3.0%.

The expected result from the implementation of a set of measures to reduce production costs for the reporting period 2022 will be 290.1 billion UZS or 5.4%, including production costs - 175.6 billion UZS or 3.3%.

The plant is taking measures to improve management, strengthen financial and economic situation and monitor the reduction of receivables and payables.

Expected receivables as of 01.07.2022 will amount to 4,519.4 billion UZS, including overdue debt 95.7 billion UZS, accounts payable - 6,549.7 billion UZS.

There are no debts to the budget and wages.

In accordance with the program for technical training of employees, 3,274 people were trained to improve the skills of workers, including 853 passed the off-site training, 1,118 people were retrained and mastered a second profession, and 1.012 people were trained and retrained as managers and specialists, including off-site training - 402 people.

JSC "Almalyk MMC" cooperates with 10 universities in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Almalyk branch of NRTU "Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys", Russian Federation to train specialists with higher education.

At present, the total number of students is 290, including 48 students study full-time and 242 students study part-time and evening departments of universities.

In total 570 people were employed during the reporting period, including 303 college graduates, 180 university graduates and 87 people without higher education.

For the purpose of timely execution of instructions from higher authorities, improvement of the performance discipline, control system, a service for monitoring the execution of instructions from higher organizations was established as part of the Executive Office of Almalyk MMC JSC and a procedure for systematic and critical analysis of the state of performance discipline was established.

During the entire period, work is being carried out to introduce a reporting system and organize control over the execution of documents on time, to study the progress in the implementation of Laws, decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Government decisions at local level. According to the Action plan of the plant, summary records are being developed with the execution of analytical reports.

Systematic work is being carried out to critically analyze the implementation of our own decisions, identify shortcomings and develop specific measures to eliminate them.

In the first half 2022, in total 490 acts have been registered, including:

• acts and instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan - 70 (decrees - 6, resolutions - 14, orders - 1, protocols - 13, instructions of the Presidential Administration - 36);
• acts and instructions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan - 418 (resolutions - 21, orders - 10, protocols - 48, instructions of Prime Minister, its deputies and advisers - 162, orders of the Secretariats of the Cabinet of Ministers - 177).

To ensure an open dialogue with citizens, thorough consideration and resolution of appeals, a Service for Control and Coordination of Work with Appeals from Individuals and Legal Entities was established at the plant. Daily appointments are organized.

In January-June 2022, 1,639 applications were received from individuals and legal entities; 897 appeals have been considered, 687 are in the process of consideration, 32 appeals have been received again.

The nature of the appeals received is provision of financial assistance, employment and reinstatement, treatment, wages, transport problems, and others.
