On November 29 of this year, an extended meeting was held in Almalyk with the participation of the management and responsible persons of JSC Almalyk MMC and the town administration.

The event was attended by the National Poet of Uzbekistan, Senator Mahmud Toir, Chairman of the Board of JSC “Almalyk MMC”, Senator Abdulla Khursanov, Head of Almalyk Town Administration Kobil Khamdamov, entrepreneurs, representatives of the public and deputies.

During the event, the issues of construction of new production capacities based on the "tow" mechanism in accordance with the "Industrial Triangle" program, as well as reduction of unemployment and assignment of unemployed citizens to entrepreneurs in pursuance of the new program of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev "From Poverty to Prosperity" were considered.

In his speech, Abdulla Khursanov focused on the results of the elections to local Kengashes and the Parliament of the country, noting that the elections were transparent and fair in compliance with democratic principles. He also emphasized that senators and deputies will work together with entrepreneurs on the path of socio-economic development of the regions.

In addition, in his speech, Abdulla Khursanov noted that the “Industrial Triangle” program promoted at the initiative of the President of our country is an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs. He also pointed out the need to organize the production of imported products by the plant in the town of Almalyk. In implementing this task, AMMC will provide entrepreneurs with all the necessary support.

The prospects of Almalyk, the investment projects implemented at the plant and the availability of great economic opportunities for domestic entrepreneurs open up the ways for development of local industry and entry into international markets.

Mahmud Toir emphasized the plant's contribution to the economic power of the country and noted that the reforms carried out by the head of our state are based on human interests and rights.

Kobil Khamdamov emphasized that reducing poverty and improving the standard of living of the population is one of the priority tasks. Also in his speech, he focused on the fact that a lot of work is being done in Almalyk to reduce poverty. It was announced that such organizational measures as industrial development, creation of new jobs and support of entrepreneurial activity will certainly contribute to increasing employment and income of the population.

During the event, low-income families were assigned to entrepreneurs.
