During the visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Tashkent region on October 14-15, 2024, it was instructed to expand cooperation ties between large enterprises and small businesses within the framework of the Industrial Triangle program.

Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex is actively working to fulfill this task.

Thus, on February 5 of this year, the localization department of AMMC held a workshop for entrepreneurs located in the vicinity of Almalyk, during which business representatives could directly communicate with responsible persons. The goal is to establish interaction and promote the development of local industry.

The event took place at the Pskent District Administration and brought together representatives of various structures: Assistant Head of Tashkent Region Administration on industrial development Umid Ubaydullaev, Head of the AMMC localization department Abbos Abdullaev, Deputy Head of Pskent District Administration Alisher Tukhtayev, Head of the Pskent Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nodir Kodirkulov, as well as entrepreneurs from Pskent, Bukinsky and Bekabad districts.

The meeting discussed issues of strengthening cooperation between industrial enterprises and entrepreneurs, supporting local producers and implementing new projects within the program. The participants also expressed their proposals and received recommendations for solving emerging problems.

The entrepreneurs were provided with information about the activities of AMMC and the list of imported goods. They also emphasized additional opportunities for expanding their production and cooperation with the plant. For reference: In November 2024, as part of the program, a fair of import-substituting products was held, during which local entrepreneurs were able to get acquainted with the goods that AMMC purchases abroad and conclude agreements on localizing the production of a number of items.
