+998 71 619 23 33As part of the "Stepped-up Month", the management of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex is actively implementing the important initiatives in Chinaz district of Tashkent region assigned to it.
In particular, work is underway to implement the "One mahalla – one product" principle, which involves assigning leading entrepreneurs to each mahalla to support the local population. Thanks to this, residents use their household plots to grow profitable agricultural crops.
From 2022 to 2024, 1,780 hectares of land were allocated in the district on a lease basis. As a result, 5,420 citizens organized private farms, and it is planned to grow export-oriented agricultural products on the allocated plots. For example, in the Mevazor mahalla, the tenants were provided with 30 acres of land each, where greenhouses are being created on a total area of 10 hectares. To date, more than 3 hectares have already been developed: greenhouses have been built and put into operation here, in which radishes are grown for subsequent sale.
Much attention is paid to the improvement of mahallas (communities), landscaping, cleaning of irrigation ditches and drainage channels, as well as organizing clean-up days and cultural events.
Large-scale improvement and landscaping works were carried out in 55 mahallas, in which local residents and representatives of organizations took an active part. During these events, the territories of 138 social facilities were improved, including 46 schools, 48 kindergartens, 10 outpatient clinics and 34 other institutions. 378 streets, 38.4 km of irrigation ditches and drainage channels were cleaned, 2.7 km of which were concreted.
During the on-site inspection of the “Yallama” mahalla, the representatives of AMMC and the district administration found that there are 329 houses in the mahalla, where 1,950 people live, and the total area of household plots is 29.2 hectares. All the plots are prepared for sowing, and the work is already in full swing. In addition, the mahalla has 2.9 km of small irrigation canals that have been cleaned and are ready to supply water. The central street "Beshchinor" has been landscaped and greened, fruit trees have been planted along it, and the irrigation ditches and drainage canals have been cleaned. Of the 208 houses with garden plots on 18.5 hectares (63.3%), early vegetable crops have already been planted, and 25 houses have small greenhouses (2-3 acres) where vegetables and seedlings are grown.
During the inspection conducted in "Birlik" and "Madaniyat" mahallas, it was revealed that land cultivation work had not yet begun on the plots of several households. In this regard, appropriate recommendations were given, and plowing was immediately organized using a motor cultivator.
Within the framework of the "Green Country" project, planting of tree seedlings continues, as well as support for low-income families by providing them with fruit trees. In the spring season, it is planned to plant 576.7 thousand different seedlings, of which 218.3 thousand have already been planted. It is also planned to plant 84 thousand trees. As of 19 March, 62.8 thousand have been planted. Monitoring of the timely completion of the work continues.
In addition, preparation of household plots for planting is underway using mini-tractors and motor cultivators. Experienced farmers and agronomists have been brought in to support the population. There are 24,400 households with household plots with a total area of 2,200 hectares in the district, of which 1,571 hectares have already been fully prepared, and sowing work has already been completed on 305 hectares.
At the same time, projects are being implemented to improve the irrigation system in mahallas with insufficient water supply. In particular, in the mahallas "Usmon Nosir", "Kir", "Islomobod", "Kanalobod" and "Ulugvor", classified as complicated territories, cleaning and reconstruction of 5.7 km of drainage canals is underway, including their deepening and concreting.
In Usmon Nosir mahalla, excavation and concreting of 550 meters of drainage canal have been completed. In Kir mahalla, 700 meters of the 2,000 meters of canal have already been concreted. In Islomobod mahalla, excavation and concreting of 2,000 meters of canals is planned, of which 1,000 meters have already been cleaned and prepared. In Kanalobod mahalla, 1,200 meters of the drainage canal are located on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, so cleaning is carried out using special equipment and obtaining the necessary permits from the relevant organizations.
Micro-projects aimed at increasing the population's income are also actively implemented in the district. Thus, 2,200 such projects are planned for 2025 in the mahallas of Chinaz district. It was planned to implement 550 of them for the period from January to March of this year, but by 19 March, 564 projects have already been successfully completed, which is 102.5% of the forecast. As a result, 1,148 new jobs were created.
For information: there are 55 mahallas, 29.7 thousand households and 147.5 thousand residents in the district. Of these, 24.4 thousand households have garden plots with a total area of 2,200 hectares.
Each of the 55 mahallas has responsible heads of regional and district organizations.
