On August 6, a meeting between management and young people was held at the Metallurg Palace of Culture, themed “Digital Transformation and Innovation: Modern Solutions to Prevent Corruption in Production”.

The event was attended by Akmal Burkhanov, Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Senator Abdulla Khursanov, Chairman of the Board of “Almalyk MMC” JSC, and the Complex management and young specialists.

Opening the meeting, Abdulla Khursanov, Chairman of the Board of “Almalyk MMC” JSC and member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, spoke about the reforms being implemented in the country under the leadership of the President and emphasized that the introduction of innovative technologies into production processes is one of the most effective tools for reduction of corruption risks.

Addressing the participants, Akmal Burkhanov, Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, noted that the fight against corruption is one of the priority areas of state policy. Digital transformation and active participation of young people are of particular importance. According to him, the real results of the reforms and transformations implemented in the country are clearly demonstrated by the example of the Complex.

A.Burkhanov proposed to launch the “Industry Without Corruption” project at AMMC and hold special competitions to select the most effective solutions. As it was noted, this format shall enable the rapid implementation of innovative ideas and proposals receiving immediately from young professionals into production.

The meeting discussed issues of digital transformation, industrial development, innovation, and strengthening the principles of integrity and transparency in production processes.

The special attention was paid to the capabilities of artificial intelligence, actively implemented at the Complex, working with large arrays of digital data and automated control systems. It was emphasized that modern technologies not only improve production efficiency and optimize costs, but also ensure process transparency and reduce corruption risks.

The meeting was held in an open and positive atmosphere. Young workers actively asked questions, shared suggestions, and presented their own innovative ideas. As part of the event, a group of Complex employees who completed special trainings on the requirements of the international standard “ISO 37001” in the field of combating corruption and successfully passed the final exams were awarded the appropriate certificates.

The Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, Akmal Burkhanov, and agency representatives also toured the museums at the Metallurg Palace of Culture. The guests were greatly impressed by the production processes at the Kalmakyr and Yoshlik I mines, the activities of the technological transport department, and the production capacity of Copper Concentrator No. 3.
