"Youth of New Uzbekistan, Unite!"

30 June 2025, 10:7 1001

On June 28, a meeting under the motto "Youth of New Uzbekistan, Unite!" was held in the recreation area "Sinegorye" in the format of a dialogue between the leadership and the youth.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board of JSC Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, Senator Abdulla Khursanov, as well as active young specialists from various divisions of the plant. The meeting was held outdoors, in a friendly and open atmosphere. The participants were told about the state policy in the field of youth support, the conditions and benefits created for their development.

– Today, our plant is reaching the global level. We are visited by representatives of leading companies from different countries. At the International Investment Forum, heads of state and international financial organizations also showed great interest in cooperation with us, – noted Abdulla Khursanov. – Such opportunities as today's youth have never existed before. We are obliged to study the rich spiritual heritage left to us by our great ancestors. Take, for example, Abu Rayhon Beruni: a thousand years ago, in his work on mineralogy, he described in detail the deposits of minerals, determining their coordinates and meridians. If you are able to take advantage of the opportunities provided and master all the necessary knowledge, then, I am sure, you will become worthy successors to the work of our great ancestors.

The event also featured a mobile cultural platform – an infomobile prepared by the Ministry of Defense.

During the open dialogue, young people actively shared their ideas and suggestions. Among them were the creation of a single electronic platform for all preschool institutions in the structure of AMMC, the development of an information program about the professions existing at the plant, the organization of a women's academy, and team competitions to strengthen the team spirit. The management listened carefully to each proposal and expressed their willingness to support the most promising of them.

After the dialogue, the participants were treated to sports and creative competitions – chess, checkers, tug-of-war, a drawing competition, and other activities.

In addition, a group of active young employees were awarded valuable gifts and certificates of honor.

For reference: today AMMC employs 10,320 young specialists, of which 1,489 have higher education (including 128 masters), and 872 people hold management and engineering and technical positions.
