As is known, servicemen of the military unit of the command of the security forces of categorized objects of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan ensure the security of the Copper Complex of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC).

In connection with the implementation of the investment project for the development of the Yoshlik I deposit and the commissioning of the new copper Concentrator plant-3, there was a need to expand the security service and create the necessary conditions for military personnel serving at the facility.

Taking into account these needs, AMMC sponsored the construction of a three-story building for military personnel. It will house classrooms, work and rest areas, a gym, locker rooms and showers. In total, the building is designed for 120 people.

The work is carried out under the supervision of the capital construction department. The project was developed by the design work department, and the construction work is carried out by the Olmalikmetallurgqurilish trust.

The size of the building is 73 by 15 meters. It is built of fired brick and equipped with earthquake-resistant structures. The roof will be made of corrugated sheets on a wooden base, modern doors and windows will be installed.

Next to the main building, a canopy will be built for parking 20 units of special machines. Currently, the installation of slabs, works with plasterboard, pouring the floor with concrete, as well as electrical and plumbing work are ongoing.

14.9 billion UZS have been allocated for the construction. Completion of the work and commissioning of the building is planned for the near future.
