Under agreements between the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Mining and Petroleum of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, bilateral cooperation is steadily developing and gaining momentum.

One important area of ​​this collaboration has been the organization of advanced training courses for Afghan specialists in our country. The training program includes not only theoretical training but also practical visits to major industrial facilities.

For example, the delegation of specialists from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan recently visited Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex. During the visit, the guests, accompanied by Training Center staff, were given a detailed tour of the production facilities and technical capabilities of the Qalmaqqir mine. The delegation was particularly interested in the large-scale project being implemented at the enterprise to develop the Yoshlik I deposit, which is rightfully considered one of the Complex key projects.

The guests also visited the “Metallurg” Palace of Culture museum, where they learned about the Complex rich history and the key stages of its development.
