+998 71 619 23 33In accordance, with the Presidential Decree №173 of September 19, 2025, “On conducting the population and agricultural census in the Republic of Uzbekistan,” a number of activities are being carried out at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex.
In particular, to ensure the implementation of this decree, a work group has been established at AMMC, and today a seminar was held for the members of this working group.
The seminar was attended by Bahodir Abdukodirov, the representative assigned from the Tashkent Regional Statistics Department to oversee preparations for the population and agricultural census in the city of Almalyk, Shermuhammad Begiyev, Deputy Governor of Almalyk, and Shuhrat Isakhodjayev, Head of the Almalyk Statistics Department. They provided detailed information to the working group on the procedures and rules of the census.
According to the schedule, the population and agricultural census in the Republic of Uzbekistan will be conducted from January 15 to February 28, 2026, and will take place in two stages.
Stage 1: From January 15 to January 31, the residents will have 17 days to complete the census online through the website census.stat.uz using the OneID system.
Stage 2: From the February 4 to February 28, members of the “the seven-member of Neighborhood Committee” will conduct door-to-door visits and complete the census using tablets.
This process will help from a key source of data for proper planning of the state’s economic policy.
During the census, a unified database will be generated containing information on the population’s age, marital status, education level, migration, employment, and income sources. In agriculture, data will be collected on land use, livestock, and poultry indicators.
The information gathered will serves as a basis for budget planning, and the effective implementation of housing, education, and infrastructure projects. The questionnaire consists of 71 questions, 54 related to the population and 17 to agriculture.
The seminar also provided detailed explanations on how census activities will be organized at industrial enterprises. It was emphasized the awareness-raising efforts must be intensified to ensure the census is carried out efficiently and with high quality.
