In order to ensure the openness of government bodies and organizations, exchange of experience on the joint fight against fakes and disinformation, from May 27 to 30 of this year in the city of Tashkent, on the initiative of Uzbekistan under the leadership of AIMC and with the support of the UTG, a joint educational seminar is being held for press secretaries of ministries and departments member countries of the Organization of Turkic States on the topic “Information services 2024: national and foreign experience.”
The event is attended by more than 120 press secretaries of government bodies and organizations of Uzbekistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The head of the information service of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, Umida Karshibaeva, also participates in this prestigious event.
As part of the joint educational seminar, a sessional meeting “National exchange of experience in developing the activities of information services” will be held, during which participants will exchange experiences, discuss current issues and challenges, and also share information about the features of the activities of information services of government bodies and organizations using the example of the state.
In addition, press secretaries of the ATC member countries will make presentations on the activities of their information services.
The event provides for media training on such topics as “Tasks of the information service in organizing the protection of national interests in the media space and establishing public relations in crisis situations”, “New opportunities on artificial intelligence and social networking platforms in transmitting information to modern media space."
