The structural divisions of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex proceed spiritual and educational events aimed at comprehensive support of women, increasing their social activism, and fostering a healthy family atmosphere. One such event took place at a combined heat and power plant and was dedicated to the topic “The Role of Women in the Family and Society.”

The meeting was attended by Viloyat Davletova, chief specialist for social, domestic, and psychological issues at the AMMC Workers’ Trade Union Council, Rano Appakhodjaeva, a specialist in spiritual and educational work at the Metallurg Palace of Culture, and librarian Gulbakhor Urozboeva. They held an open discussion with women working at the company.

During the meeting, it was noted that the family is the smallest, but at the same time the most important element in society. The well-being and stability of society largely depend on a strong and happy family. Particular attention was paid to the role of women, whose wisdom, patience and care largely determine the atmosphere of home comfort and mutual understanding. It was emphasized that a woman is not only the homekeeper, but also a mother who, from the first years of life, shapes the child’s worldview, instills in them moral qualities and respect for national traditions and values.

The meeting participants also discussed measures taken in our country to support women. It was noted that protection of their rights and legitimate interests, creation of conditions for professional growth and expansion of participation in public life are among the priority areas of state policy. This contributes to strengthening the role of women not only in the family, but also in the activities of large industrial enterprises, as well as in the life of society as a whole.

Representatives from the library and the spiritual and educational community provided participants helpful advices on development of a reading culture, maintenance of emotional balance, and overcoming of stressful situations. The meeting, held in form of an open dialogue and questions and answers, generated keen interest among the participants and left them with the most positive impressions.
