On October 30, in honor of “Engineers and Mechanics Day,” a professional skills competition “Best Mechanic – 2025” was held at the 3^rd Copper Concentrator Plant among repairmen, pump operators, turners, and welders.

The main goal of the competition was to enhance the professional knowledge and skills of mechanics working devotedly in production, recognize their labor, and increase interest in the profession among young specialists.

The competition consisted of a theoretical part: answering written questions and a practical part: correctly interpreting and drawing technical diagrams.

According to the results of the intense competition:
1^st place: Sardor Mamenov, repairman at the Crushing and Flotation Shop, was recognized as the “Best Mechanic.”
2^nd place: Mamatali Umbetov, repairman at the Waste Collection Shop.
3^rd place: Ruziboy Khonpolatov, repairman at the Specialized Repair Mechanical Shop.

The winners were awarded special diplomas and commemorative gifts presented by the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex Employees’ Trade Union Council.

Participants noted that such competitions increase their interest in work, provide opportunities to exchange experience, and motivate self-improvement.
