As part of the "Impact Month" initiative, the management of Almalyk mining and metallurgical complex is assigned to the Chinaz district of the Tashkent region, where large-scale events are consistently implemented.

During one of the meetings of the Complex's representatives with residents of the district, the children from general education schools No. 15 and No. 16 proposed organizing an industrial excursion to the enterprise to familiarize themselves with its activities.

The initiative was supported by the management of the Complex, and on 4 April of this year, an excursion to the production facilities of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex was organized for 46 students and teachers of these schools.

The first item on the program was a visit to the “Metallurg” Palace of Culture, where the participants got acquainted with the museum exposition of the plant. During the excursion, the students were given detailed information about the history of the enterprise and its current activities.

The next stage was a trip to one of the largest open copper-porphyry deposits in the world – the Qalmaqqir mine, where the schoolchildren were greatly impressed by the mining process.

The young people also visited the observation deck of the Yoshlik I deposit, the development of which is one of the largest investment projects of the AMMC. Here, the participants were told about the initiatives being implemented and the scale of the work being carried out.

Of particular interest was the construction of the Copper concentrator plant-3, designed to process up to 60 million tons of ore per year. The excursionists received information about the importance of this facility for the country's economy.

The last point of the schoolchildren's visit was the Almalyk branch of the National research technological university "MISiS", where qualified personnel are trained for AMMC and other industrial enterprises. They got acquainted with the conditions created here for students.

During the excursion, the schoolchildren from the Chinaz district received a comprehensive understanding of the production activities of a large industrial enterprise.
