On 23 June this year, another preventive event was held at the Chadak Mine Administration of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex under the chairmanship of the Head of the Occupational Safety Department of the Central Office S. Juraev.

The event was attended by specialists from the Almalyk Mining Technical Inspection, management and leading specialists, the chairman of the trade union committee of the Chadak Mine Administration, engineering and technical workers of the Pirmirab and Guzaksay mines, as well as labor protection representatives.

The meeting considered the circumstances and preliminary causes of the group accident that occurred on June 20 of this year in the “Guzaksay” mine of the Mine Administration.

The meeting was held in a critical manner: an analysis of the causes of the accident was carried out. The responsible persons emphasized that each engineering and technical worker must conscientiously fulfill their duties, take all necessary measures to prevent accidents, provide workers with clear instructions and explanations regarding their professional duties, and strictly comply with safety requirements when performing any work.

The issues included in the agenda were discussed in detail. The responsible persons were given instructions to implement measures aimed at preventing accidents, improving the condition of the mine workings and installing supports in accordance with the developed measures.

It was also instructed to develop support passports for the mine workings and reflect them in the relevant production projects, while it was noted that special attention must be paid to the classification of rocks presented by geologists.

In addition, each mine manager was given specific tasks to take the necessary measures to strengthen, improve and systematize work in the field of labor protection.
