From the ancient time our people demonstrate careful attitude to environment, trees planting and handling are considered to be the highest moral values. Each plant is a kind and generous act, priceless heritage, left to future generations.

The massive greenspace expansion efforts, conducted in our country, harmonize with with national traditions and serve to pursue these good initiatives. In that regard, within the framework of the national project “Yashil Makon” (“Green Land”), the workforce of the lime plant conducts a large-scale work to improve and green the territory. In particular, over the past three years, 12,410 poplar seedlings and 17,200 cuttings have been planted on the land plot allocated to the enterprise. In addition, over 300 fruit trees and about 400 ornamental trees were planted here during 2026.

Today, special attention is paid to the care of fruit trees growing on the enterprise’s territory and in adjacent areas. These include apple, apricot, peach, plum, quince, cherry, persimmon and fig trees. At the same time, irrigation systems are being improved and the area of green spaces is being expanded.

Also, on the central streets assigned to the lime plant and on the territory of the “Uzbekistan” mahalla, work on planting flowers and seedlings, as well as landscaping, is conducted in a timely and high-quality manner.

For the record: poplar is a fast-growing tree with a high ability to purify air and produce oxygen. One poplar tree produces the amount of oxygen needed for seven people per day. In addition, its extensive root system strengthens the soil, reduces the risk of erosion and softens the negative impact of strong winds.

The lime plant’s efforts in this area not only make our country even more beautiful and green, but also serve as an important step towards creation of an ecologically clean environment for future generations. After all, every seedling planted today is a solid foundation for tomorrow’s clean air, fertile soil, and healthy future.
