+998 71 619 23 33In honor of World Day for Safety and Health at Work and International Nurses Day, the "Best Nurse 2026" professional excellence competition was held at the medical unit of the AMMC Workers' Trade Union Council.
Speaking at the event, Abdujabbor Tukhtaboyev, Chief Physician of the Medical Unit, noted the special attention paid to developing the healthcare system in our country, as well as the consistently implemented reforms in the industry.
"The role of mid-level medical personnel, and especially nurses, in improving the quality of healthcare for the population is difficult to overestimate. Every nurse working in our medical unit is not only a highly qualified specialist, but also a true professional who selflessly, day and night, protects the health of patients," the Chief Physician emphasized.
The competition was held under the motto "Let's Create a Healthy Psychological and Social Atmosphere in the Workplace." Participants competed in several categories: introducing themselves, answering medical questions, demonstrating practical first aid skills in accordance with current standards, and also showcasing their creative talents.
In the competition, Shoira Zhuraeva and Nadima Karimova shared third place. Ulmana Mingboeva took second place. Nasiba Yunisalieva, who brilliantly completed all the tasks, won the competition and was named "Best Nurse 2026."
The participants were also recognized in special categories: "Most Charming Nurse," "Most Energetic Nurse," "Most Cheerful Nurse," "Most Knowledgeable Nurse," and "Kindest Nurse."
The winners received cash prizes and souvenirs.
The competition was organized to demonstrate the professional excellence of nurses, share experiences, and promote cutting-edge achievements in healthcare. Participants were able to test their theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and compliance with occupational safety requirements. Such events foster employee accountability and increase their engagement in their work.
